United Doberman Club - Working Together for the Total Doberman

2007 AWDF Championship - How to Enter

UDC is accepting all levels of competitors for the 2007 AWDF Championship, a national level, all-breed IPO competition. Please send your letter of intent to Lindsay Davis, AWDF Chair (See details below for entering in 2007).

We hope you will all consider this event...all that have participated in the past have enjoyed the Battle of the Breeds. The Dobermans have made an outstanding presentation..we won in 2003 and 2004. We can do it again!!!

In order to enter with your Doberman you must be a UDC member in good standing, your dog must be UDC registered, and you must have earned the title at the level at which you are competing (UDC rule).

LETTER OF INTENTION

  1. Letter of intention must be sent/postmarked to the AWDF Chair (or the designee) by January 31st.  This letter must include a copy of the dog's UDC registration, copy of the scorebook, and copy of the UDC membership card.  Owner and handler must be UDC members in good standing.  If by the deadline of January 31st, the Chair has not received letters of intent for a full team, then it is up to the Chair to attempt to complete the team if possible (for only the levels that have not been covered).  This discretionary power is for the AWDF Chair ONLY.

FINAL ENTRY DEADLINE

  1. The deadline for entries will be 3 weeks prior to the AWDF entry closing date.  Completed entry form with entry fee will be submitted by the owner no later than this deadline.
  2. Owner/handler may compete for a new title if they have either titled a dog to the level they are entering or higher.
  3. Entry fee will be reimbursed by UDC to the top three scoring Doberman competitors  - one from each level (IPO 1, 2, & 3) after the team competes at the AWDF as long as all the above are met and the team is not disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct.  Should there not be a top scoring Doberman at any given level, an entry fee will not be reimbursed for said level.
  4. There will be a UDC logo item provided to each competitor (item to be determined by the AWDF Committee).
  5. Team will not be specifically limited in terms of number of competitors.
