Airport Information
Nearest is Decatur Airport ~15 minutes from Progress City and Decatur conference Center and Hotel, which has an airport shuttle. Springfield Capital Airport is ~30 minutes away. Bloomington-Normal Regional Airport is ~60 minutes away. Champaign Airport is ~60 minutes away.

Directions to Progress City Show Site
Welcome info and maps will be available at Progress City. Monday starting at 9am. There will be a table inside the bicolored building.
Directions to Progress City. from East (champaign) on I72 exit 144 Rt 48 South. Turn left at end of ramp. Go straight through first light. Look for Richland Community College sign. Turn left at next light onto Brush College Road. Turn left at light by the Progress City sign. Turn Right onto access road and turn left into the gated complex.
From West (springfield) on I72 go past most of the Decatur exits, including Rt51. Next exit is 144 Rt48 South Turn left at end of ramp.Go straight through first light. Look for Richland Community College sign. Turn left at next light onto Brush College Road. Turn left at light by the Progress City sign. Turn Right onto access road and turn left into the gated complex.
From North (Bloomington-Normal) on Rt 51S come into Forsyth and past mall. Get onto I72 going East toward champaign. One exit later is 144 Rt 48S. Turn left at end of ramp. Go straight through first light. Look for Richland Community College sign. Turn left at next light onto Brush College Road. Turn left at light by the Progress City sign. Turn Right onto access road and turn left into the gated complex.
Directions From OHare Airport
From O'Hare Airport in Chicago to Decatur Conference Center and Hotel
I294 South to I55 South (toward St. Louis) Get onto Rt51 South (about Bloomington-Normal) Come into Forsyth and by the mall area. Go West on I72 toward Springfield/ Exit at Rt36East. At the first stoplight turn Right. Turn Left into the hotel driveway.
From O'Hare Airport in Chicago to Progress City
I294 South to I55 South (toward St. Louis) Get onto Rt51 South (about Bloomington-Normal) Come into Forsyth and by the mall area. Go East on I72 toward Champaign. Exit at Rt48South. Turn Left (toward Decatur). Turn Left onto Brush College Road (sign to Richland Community College) Turn Left at Progress City Sign Turn Right onto access road toward community college Turn Left into central exit toward a bicolored building (tan/red) in center of Progress City.
Event Registration
Welcome packages will be at Progress City for pickup inside the main building....this is where you can get additional info about Decatur (where are restaurants other than host hotel, shops/mall, things to see and do)as well as your preordered catalog and tickets to meals. There will be additional information about practice location/times and trial location for IPO/TR/OB/BH competitors, since they will be competing off site.
Host hotel will have highlighted maps & a schedule of events for the day with start times (most will match premium list). BTW if you didn't reserve a room at the host hotel using UDC, then the room may not be very large and it might be hard to get several large dog crates into it.....the $79 room rate is for a very nice room :)
PLEASE DO NOT WALK DOGS OR PRACTICE TRACK IN THE FIELDS RIGHT NEXT TO PROGRESS CITY! You can walk dogs and practice track anywhere you like INSIDE THE CHAINLINK FENCE and/or at the HOST HOTEL.
Hot Weather Precautions
Bring as much shade (tents, window reflectors, drapes that reflect the sun but allow the air to move through, etc.) as you can with you. The one thing that is in short supply at Progress City is shade. There will be a hose to cool dogs down at Progress City and I am working on getting a kiddie pool there (but no guarantees). There is also a park at Lake Decatur where I often swim my dogs when it is really hot that will be marked on the maps.
